@soulcalibur33 1. no fear go for it! wm6 much stable and faster than 5.0
2. go to asus website, download firmware and folow instructions they provide. use only SD card no larger than 1-2 GB. MMC and SDHC cards doesn't work!

I have fear to install WIndows mobile 6 on my asus a636 n.... and if I want to downgrade to windows mobile 5? It0s written that "Please be notified that it cannot be downgraded to Mobile 5 after upgraded to Mobile 6."...
Is not possible to do a copy backup of wm5 before format my pal a363 n before format and install mb6?

i hate this fucking a636n , if the ttemperature goes down -5°C it's didn't go on.

check the battery cover. it's a usual problem, there's a small button, that must be pushed by this cover. try to put a small piece of paper under the cover.

I own A636N too, with WM6 upgraded. I haven't had any problems with my screen but other issues have occured, like this piece of sh*t won't stay on for long and it shuts down.

the A636N PDA sucks, the screen has major allignment problems for years now and was never really solved by ASUS.

go to the official asus site, select download, and there select your pda. (sorry, i can't send, the link)

this upgrade is only for asus a63Xn. check your pda's support page...
