charlie44441 if you were wondering where the hippies went, they are the ones in power now, they just finally realized, that fighting the ones with all the power and money, who will stop at nothing to retain their power and money, is pointless. and jumped on the side they once fought against, because they realized that protesting isn't going to pay the bills.

i'm agree with her. the great compromiser hits again with a new great compromise. another half assed effort to please all sides.. only to get hammered from both sides. obama, start governing already. no more beer summits, no more bowing to asians, not more kowtowing to neonazi conservatives. i'm starting to think this great strategist and chess player who we thought through great strategery won the election actually won it by a stroke of luck

I find it amazing that Americans will have a tea party to prevent health care for everyone but if young men are dying in a stupid war with no end, they won't even get off the couch. Where did all the hippies go? At least they got off the couch....when they were hippies.

Draw the line, people. Every dollar we waste in the mountains of Afghanistan fighting a war we WILL NOT WIN doesn't create a job here, provide medical care, OR give a child who needs it Head Start. We can spend more & more for this war that no one but the M.I.Complex & a couple NeoCon nitwits want (5% increase just this yr - funded the way Obama said he was going to stop) but health care (his top priority?) has to be BUDGET NEUTRAL.
Yeah.
What does he say & what does he do? Draw the lines!
