@batchix That's really cool. How did you get locks in her knees? Sorry I'm asking a lot of questions I just really think it's awesome.

:> My Dream is to order one of your dolls

@sapphirexwind Lagoon is about 42cm tall. She's a little bit shorter and slimmer than other 42cm mature minis. :3 i'm glad you like her! :D Good luck with your sculpting!

basically you build little tabs behind the round part of the joint... it's sort of hard to explain. I'll try to make a video of it sometime. :3

Can I just ask, how do you get them to stand on their own?
Glisean 1 month ago
@Glisean BJDs in general have feet that are more proportional to their bodies than say, fashion dolls. In general to get one to stand you place their feet on the ground, hold their feet with one hand and then gently move their upper body until you feel their center of balance, then carefully let go and they stand. Lagoon has locks in her knees to help her stay stable, so she stands on a variety of surfaces in different poses.

is there a way to make it so you cannont remover her head? so it cannont be changed?

@taurusmorris If you weren't able to remove the head you wouldn't be able to change the stringing. The elastic eventually wears out, so being able to change it is important. If you could do an internal skeletal system, like what the Volks Dollfie Dream V2 has you wouldn't need that, but that's a lot of engineering that i'm not sure of how to do.
