It was filmed without looking at the screen, just in my hand as I was being aware of my surroundings, looking out no one was hurt around me etc, but all the same not much I could do about the situation other than in my immediate vincinity! was some crazy stuff. I will be returning to Belgium from Sydney for PKP 2012!

Voor school zou ik een reportage moeten maken over pukkelpop. We zouden daar heel graag amateurbeelden voor gebruiken om aan te tonen hoe erg de storm tekeerging. Ik had dus de vraag of je me deze beelden kon doorsturen zodat we zo konden gebruiken voor de reportage. Als je akkoord gaat dat we de beelden gebruiken stuur me dan in een privé bericht. @lietjelie Were you there? I didn't see anybody on the ground in need of help. Everyone was making their own way to safety & I had no idea what was happening other than exactly where I was. Had anybody been injured in my presence, like any true festival goer I'd of dropped everything & helped them. All I could do in this moment was film because it is needed to see what happened & help Pukkelpop make plans if this happens again. I go to many festivals mate & am the most helpfull guy. Thanks.

It's indeed a good thing to record & share this footage, it makes the people who weren't there understand the horror you guys were in. No one will ever be able to say it didn't happen, or it wasn't that bad. That's the importance of this new form of media! So big up to you!

Ich möchte euch meine Erschütterung und tiefstes Mitgefühl ausdrücken.

Es sind schier unglaubliche Bilder die ihr da gedreht habt, Bilder die beweisen wie schnell ein Trip wie das Pukkelpop Festival zum blanken Horror werden kann.

Ich bin selbst Festivalgänger und auf sämtlichen Festivals mit dabei, und genau dieser Sturm traf ein paar Stunden später zum Beispiel auch das Summer Breeze. Es grenzt an ein Wunder dass bei uns niemand zu Schaden kam und alles gut verlaufen ist.

I know they said high winds and stromy weather but that is utterly devastating, my heart goes out to all those who were there or injured, hope next year will be more prepared and every possible danger addressed, seriously not good :(
