An illegal foreclosure purpetrated by "acting" clerk of court, Brian Lee Shipwash of Davidson County, North Carolina resulted in the first attempt at an illegal eviction on January 20, 2009, by Sheriff David Grice. Having been informed his act was unlawful, Sheriff Grice and his SWAT Team left in disgrace only to return a few weeks later, February 9, 2009 to finish the illegal job. This was featured in Michael Moore's latest film.
