After weeks of speculation, Simon Cowell made two big announcements this week: Paula Abdul will join X-Factor as the last judge and Nicole Scherzinger will co-host with Steve Jones. No one was really surprised that he picked Paula because they have great chemistry together and he's been hinting about it for months. "This show would never have been the same without Paula and I can't believe I am saying this, [but] I have missed her a lot, and I am thrilled she's on the show," Simon TOLD ONE  media outlet. "I am excited beyond words to be a part of The X Factor," the 48-year-old Abdul said in a statement. "I couldn't be happier to bring my love for cultivating talent and performance to such a wildly anticipated show. I can't help but think of X-Factor as a newer version of Idol. Simon, Paula and a funny bald guy with glasses? He pretty much traded Ryan Seacrest for a Pussycat doll and gave the show a new name. Is it too similar to Idol? Will you tune in?

Yea i saw thoes pictures dreadfull cole must have really hit her hard her eye was right out big as a golf ball , gets me how she got off with a piddeling fine she should have been made an example of god knows in some countrys it would put you in jail least if she served a custidial sentence it would have sent out the msg that this kind of behaviour is not acceptable and ppl call her the nations sweetheart , pah some sweetheart she most likely had a bent brief that got her off

There acually was a lot of chemistry between cheryl cole and simon also. I mean, why else would simon have picked her out of everyone when he needed a replacement for sharon osbourne. I was so exited to see cheryl on the us x factor, i even bought tickets for miami auditions just to go see her. love you chezaa<3

Uhm you're full of shit. There is pictures of the girls eye swollen so it was more than just a "slap" and medical reports saying the girl temorarily lost vision in her eye. Cheryl may not have gone to jail but that was only because she had money to bail herself out of it.
