The river was the Ekwi river that is above the confluence of the Keele and Ekwi rivers. I am not exactly sure how far, maybe 20-25 miles above the confluence. We flew into the area so I don't have the measurements. It is exactly along the Canol Trail (old US army pipeline trail from WWII). You should be able to find that if you google it.
