  • Nice music (and a good version) from the "Llibre Vermell" of Benedictine Monastery of Montserrat in Catalonia near Barcelona. It is typical religious piece from "Ars Nova".

  • It is not a "cantiga". Stella Splendens is a traditional Catalan "dansa" from "Llibre Vermell de Montserrat" (Catalan for "Red Book of Montserrat", outside Barcelona in Catalonia).

  • Wow!

  • I like the touch of showing the medieval artwork of the same instrument being played.

  • Where can I get a Pungi flute like that?

  • @guimo777 Quite right - and the title 'Llibre Vermell' isn't even related to the book it's self! It's named after a red binding it was put in... in the 18th Century!

  • Where is the second voice ? Not sure I heard it.

  • si anche io vorrei delle informazioni, sono una studentessa di musica e sono sarda. voglio conoscere tutto sulla musica della sardegna!!
