  • how does it feel with no top back pad (that would be the stretched fabric of the Alice pack) i was going to ask Dave Canterbury but im sure hes on to different things now.

  • @Tancrad It was a little uncomfortable, but I got adjusted to it. Might want to ask Dave Canterbury anyway and see what he says. Thanks for watching Take Care.

  • does the alice pack with the frame work well? Is it light enough and durable enough? I know I'm asking a boatload of questions but I want to replce my medium trnasport bag with this.

  • @ToddIngram1000 No proplem. Yes it works well. The frame makes it easier to carry things. It gives you more support. It distributes more of the weight to your hips instead of your shoulders. What are you planning on using the pack for? Day hike? Over nighter?

  • @1097411 both. I don't know if I need the frame because in the alice pack manual it says that the medium doesn't need the frame.

  • @ToddIngram1000 you dont need the frame, but if you do get one make sure it comes with a frame and you can always take the frame off if you choose. Also the straps on the pack in my opinion arent that great but you can buy better quality ones that are more comfortable. Just thought i let you know before you make your decision.

  • @ToddIngram1000 I read on this website that the pack itself weighs 2.8 lbs and the frame weighs 3 lbs. I may have read wrong but if you type in alice pack weight in the internet search bar, the first website name that pops up is where I got the info from. For some reason it wont let me post the website address. Hope this helps Take Care.

  • how heavy is the pack and frame put together with nothing in it. I want to go light, but if I need to sacrifice for being comfortable I will.

  • @ToddIngram1000 wow its funny you mention it because i just tried it without the frame today ha. And its not that great, its a bit uncomfortable in my opinion and prefer it with the frame. Thanks for watching Take Care

  • how does the alie pack do without the frame?
