@yourgamedesign So is the difference I see in graphics among various games created with fpsc primarily due to the quality of models, textures, and GPU(s)?
Btw, your site is great, what is your username on the TGC forum?

Thanks for the tip on editing the light quality in the Setup file.
Could you do more tutorials on improving quality by editing existing files and scripts?
For example, I see many people getting higher quality graphics by using mods like PB and AirMod, but how could we accomplish this by editing existing files?

@PCGameDROPS The mentioned mods don't really improve graphics all that much but have timer based logic that will give a smoother feel to the games framerate. This logic is also being introduced to standard FPSC in the next update so no need to mess around with source code yourself.

Hi! Go into Build Game and look at the Level Settings tab. Edit the Global settings script and find the value for Ambience level. Set it down from 50 to something like 10 or 20.

What he said about changing files you as well could simply put 2 lights right next to each other for example for a sunset orange and yellow light.

FPSC simply blends the colors - therefore you could simply make one light with the color you want. No real need to make the engine make two large light calculations.
