  • I mostly agree with that mate. I say don't use straps as much as you can but if you can lift heavier with them then do it. But you should aim to build up forearm/grip strength rather than rely on straps.

  • indeed. the way i figure, you shouldn't lift anything you can't hold.

  • It also means your forarms wont get stronger and you will rely on straps more and more.

  • straps = cheating imo, but sstill 200kg nice, i did 150kg other day, first time i have ever attempted a deadlift and i only weigh 65k

  • Back was a little rounded on the last one, but that was fucking awesome!!

  • it keeps the focus off the forearms so they don't tire out, thus allowing you to lift much heavier weights.
