River Tam turns into a fighting machine in the Maidenhead bar and kicks some Reaver ass in Serenity.

Would Wash comment on the bar fight like this: "Did she just go crazy and fall asleep?"

That _look_ on her face at 5:41-5:43 ... I'm surprised she didn't decide to gut all of those soldiers, regardless of The Operative's stand down order and them lowering their weapons. He saved the soldiers' lives, not River's. lol.

Does Joss Whedon use the same person/people for the fight sequences in all his work? Cuz they're all beautifully choreographed.

For Serenity, it's like the choreographer encorporated some dance into the fights just for Summer Glau (She's had ballet training, you know).

I'm looking forward to the sequences Whedon's put together for The Avengers- if he can do something like Serenity on a $40m budget, think what he'll do with $300m!
