Thank you Bernd. Yes, you're right, the Everly Brothers wrote this song - I put Roy Orbison in the title because that was the version I covered. I haven't heard the Everly Brothers original, but I should definitely check it out!

Sorry to be an anorak, but the Everlys didn't write it either, though they were the first to record it. LOL Original composition and lyrics were by Boudleaux Bryant and Felice Bryant.

Anyway, now I've done my "I know" bit and you all think I'm a numpty, I'd like to say what a great instrumental version this is. I've never heard it without lyrics before so this makes a very refreshing change.
