Sir Alex Ferguson supports Unite in call for genuine apprenticeships

At a Unite conference in Manchester, guest speaker, Sir Alex Ferguson, himself a former apprentice voiced his support for genuine apprenticehips for young people. Unite learning reps and employers heard from the union and Cogent, the sector skill body for science based industry, about how investment in training can contribute to the long-term well being of companies and the economy.
