This is a neat weapon mod made by WildWeasel. Bolstered by a competently written backstory (filename 'diazlore.txt'), this mod changes some dynamics of Doom significantly, without being a PC or a TC (Partial-Conversion and Total Conversion, respectively).

You can select multiple characters to play as, each one seems to have their own sound-sets. From the get-go, you are armed with a silver pistol that has the power of the original Doom pistol. With the alt-fire command (whatever you have bound to that command), you can club an enemy, usually dealing even more damage than a pistol shot. Also, you are armed with your bare hands, and your feet! It uses a combo-fighting system; just keep clicking the primary fire until you do a chop, then immediately follow right the alternate fire, and he'll do a jump kick. Alternate fire with the "fists" will do a standing kick.

Some weapons you can use are the unique Psionic Amplifier, another pistol that seems to have a higher firing rate (less damage, however), a classic machinegun (40 rounds, with a fair amount of kickback), an AK-74, a lightweight pump-action shotgun that holds four shots (click after each shot to pump a round into the chamber), a heavy assault-rifle that can be mounted to reduce recoil and improve accuracy, a rocket-propelled grenade launcher that slows down your movement, and others. The game changes whatever is in the level every time you play, ala Aeons of Death, so it's never the same exact experience.

You'll hear a lot of Resident Evil 4 sounds in this mod, for one. Also, the soldier-type enemies have many lines and sounds, sometimes being very immersive. The music used is called "Doom 2 Variations by Dimaension X", a music wad found at Doomworld. Get it here: http://www.doomworld.com/idgames/index.php?id=15656. Simply load it with the wad you want, or add it after the megawad found in the target line of the executable's properties.

  • @LordAzanko Don't know if this was ever intended to be used with ST, but frankly, most of these mods are intended for use with ZDoom anyway.

  • I didn't say that's some other poeple make this mod. I just ask if you know what is mod name where include blood ball weapon, that's why I said excuse me for begin offtopic. I said that because the mod with blood ball looks like this, and that mod with blood ball made with cutmanmike suppoert. Anyway, please say me name of the mod if you know what I talk about ! I really need it.

  • @MaxRideWizardLord Zen Dynamics. Given the fact that Cutmanmike is a prominent member of the ZDoom modding community, I wouldn't be surprised if he did actually have a part in its production.

  • Excuse me, don't you remember the DOOM mod where you had a weapon BloodBall? The blood ball shots a blood and you can drop that ball so it's will make splash damage, and you can take the ball again after you drop it.

    Also, the Psionic weapon in this mod is a reskin of the sticky mines from Shadow Warrior. Whoever did it, well, kudos to them. If you have any qualms with it being from someone other than WildWeasel, take it up with him and not me.

  • Every time I play this mod I have this glitch where very time I fire a weapon the screen moves up a little until I'm stuck looking up at the ceiling. Has this happened to anyone else? How do I fix this?

    anyway, ST is behind ZDoom alot because the creators are too lazy to catch up.
