A series of still photos set to pan-flute music, taken at Mayan ruin sites in the Puuc Region and in Chiapas: Uxmal, Kabah, Palenque, Yaxchilan, and Bonampak. Of the five, Uxmal's clean architectural lines and complex friezes are impressive, but Palenque is truly a magical place, hard to capture in pictures. I tried. The Bonampak murals were surprisingly impressive, but difficult to photograph...I settled for the beautiful carving of Stela 2 here. Amazing that it still speaks to us across 1,200 years...
