I'm a native New Yorker and was here during the 80's, it was a hell of a lot more fun and in my opinion, better than it is now. They've stripped this place of it's personality, it's nothing more than a huge overpriced, over-hyped, boring, lifeless, suburb/Disney attraction now. And good luck trying to find any real New Yorkers since they've been pushed out by ridiculously high rents, NYU and rich scumbags.
