Thanks for posting this! I first heard him on a gospel compilation lp. This guy had a very unique & rough voice. You just don't hear singers like this anymore, unfortunately. There was a friend of my family that we called Brother Brown who was blind but sung gospel. He reminds me of Blind Willie Johnson because they both were blind but both had rough voices. Unfortunately, he's gone also.

It features kick-ass singer Shara Worden on vocals and the song is just generally eerily wonderful. Martin Simpson also does a great version, too. Sorry, I just love good covers. PEACE!
