@ronscott7 First of all, I don't HAVE to have been alive during a given period of time to remark about the era. That's like you saying we can't criticize Adolf Hitler if we weren't alive in 1945. Or that we can't remark upon the presidency of George Washington or Abraham Lincoln.

Go off if you want, I really don't give a fuck about ignorant conservatives who essentially just hate Jimmy Carter because he had a D next to his name and had difficult circumstances NO ONE would have overcame...

@eflint1 No, a leftist economy doesn't make everyone "equally poor"...a strict capitalistic economy makes a lot of people poor and a few very rich, however. The "1%" don't pay THAT much in taxes after you take out the loopholes and other exemptions which allow them to keep a larger share of their wealth than in any developed nation in the world. Our rich people pay less taxes than anywhere else in the world and that isn't good enough still?

@eflint1 Plenty of people hate Carter and plenty of people hate Obama. As you may have heard recently shots were fired at our President...OUR President. That's the problem, too many people think he's not their president just because they disagree with his policies or political philosophies.

@JamalDOA nobody hates Carter or Obama. But leftist policies only make people equally poor. Government can't bring about equal outcome. Just curious, do you know what percent of all Federal income tax collected is paid by the top one percent of income earners? Do you you know what percent of all income earned in AMERICA is earned by the top one percent? BTW, how did my statement about the Bible in any way violate the 1st amendment? Where is the term "separation of church and State?

@eflint1 I don't even understand why you guys hate on Carter so viciously. Carter was probably the most moderate Democrat of the last century...I guess you can't pick on Roosevelt since he's the best ever.
