It's a German band called Tears of Passion.

Please hit this with lots of thumbs ups so it stays in the "Top Comments" and ends any controversy about the two artists. It's still a good song, but sounds nothing like Peter's voice or Type O's music.

Great song. It is very reminiscent of TON. The singer does sound similar to Peter Steele.

BTW: God You still haven't taken Bieber and given us Peter back.

The only thing that I dont understand is if this song is a Tears of Passion song and not a Type O Negative song, why do I have it on a Type O Negative album that I bought?

i think that when he made this song it was telling everybody how he felt and to be honest fame is hell a lot of dont deserve to die but everybody is not going to live forever

@Fiendin Here's a mind-blowing idea for you - what if Tears of Passion were a pseudonym for Type O? The Metal on Metal blogger has this to say: "Very little seems to be known about this band. Tears Of Passion gained recognition when their song ‘Angel’ was said to be by Type O Negative and thousands still believe the song is by Type O. No matter they are unknown, they wrote very beautiful goth/industrial metal songs." Agree with the last bit, but it hardly clears up the mystery, does it?

@Fiendin wasn't trying to start an argument as such - just raising legitimate questions about why there was no trace of Tears of Passion on sites where you would expect to find something. A link to a blog which in turn contains links to videos on YouTube isn't quite the same thing as anyone can post a video or a song by anyone they like and call it what they want - it doesn't authenticate anything. What's more, the blog's link to TOP's site is not to a rock band's site. So who's stupid?

And yes, I've heard pretty much everything they've done, both live and recorded.

@Fiendin Okay, and what else have Tears of Passion done? Only ever heard of them in connection with this song. No trace of them on Amazon (including the German site) or Wikipedia. Your comment that it sounds nothing like Type O or Peter is arrant nonsense. Type O never made the same record twice. Listen to their cover of Sarah McLachlan's Possession to see what they were capable of. I'm only bothering to argue because the song is so good that I would want to check out this band's other stuff!
