@croatiagirl93 Well you posted this two years ago so chances are you don't care anymore but I'll answer anyway lol. A Pilot for a tv show as explained in the video is the first episode of a tv show. Dominic however was thinking of a airplane pilot - the person who flies the plane is called the pilot.

"I got to the US in 2000 and I found it really difficult to go in and out of my Australian and American accent. It was getting in the way of my acting. I was turning up to auditions and my confidence was shot because it was all about my fucking accent. And Anthony LaPaglia is a good friend of mine. He says, “Dom, just speak American all the time. No one fucking knows, speak American.” And I did. It made life so much easier."
That's weird. There are many Australian actors who don't do that.

since dominc comes from australlia he didnt know that in america when it comes to television a pilot is the very first episode in a show so he thought they wanted him to play an airplane pilot and thats why s was doing the thngs with his hands

What a sense of humor! Next to actor Gerard Butler, Dominic is one of the most down-to-earth actor I seen. Can't wait to see him in season 4.
