a cover of the ubiquitous song made famous by the Close Lobsters, from Gedge & company's string of "Hit Parade" singles ca. 1992 (no. 6, flipside of "California"). Go ahead & explode.
Got a NAD C545 to replace my busted CD player yesterday, spent a few hours "testing" and this song just had to be played, well cranked up. Yeah, they took great songs for the Hit Parade series and gave them their trademark "laldie". Fabulous.
@DaveAllenDaveAllen as they did with 'Felicity' and 'Come up and see me' and 'Step into Christmas'; etc . Jesus, what a band; when we will see their like again?
Should have been a single in it's own right ...

This rocks. I have come back to this again and again over the last (almost) 20 years

the close lobsters wrote it, but sadly it was never a 'ubiquitous' song.

Love the Close Lobsters song - but the Weddos gave it some bollocks.
