Yes, it is meant to be a parody but it's not based an anything specific but it rather spoofs the general over-expensive hiphop music videos as well as the content of hiphop lyrics, like the aggressive overuse of profanity and the whole "I'm better than you" complex many hiphop artists show in their lyrics.
