@niceboy60 What city do you live in? I ride mine through many cities in North Texas, and the police don't care a bit. Motorists seem happy that I can ride faster in traffic. Electric bikes are pigs. (expensive and heavy)

this was a great help thank you i was just wondering what parts you need and how it all goes together. i hve the moter but i don' t have teh means to connect it to the bike. would there be a simpler way of mounting it?

@kitleyd It's probably concidered a mountain bike becasue it has gears and it doesn't use coaster breakes. It looks like a mountain bike with coaster mods.

This is great, but the motor should either be on in the frame or to the rear wheel. When its on the front wheel you can't steer as easy.

I think its awesome. The tire is not that worn. Its a MTB slick. I have some like it. Geaux makes some with that same pattern.

The tire is not worn, it is a large slick inflated to 45 psi. The wear minimal as long as the drive pinion is pressed hard enough into the tire so that it does not slip. My main use is climbing city hills. On flat ground the motor is turned off and lifted off the tire. Fuel consumption for an entire summer is under a gallon.
