Video for Zephyr by the early 90's band Electrafixion featuring Ian McCulloch and Will Sergeant of Echo and the Bunnymen. Visit www.villiersterrace.com for more Bunnymen goodness.
Que pedo con esos weyes cambian un chingo de genero , esta rola y la mierda de surrender apestan ... de donde son yo pense que eran de Mexico los pendejetes esos.
I used to record 120 Miniutes on MTV every week in 1995 trying to find these videos and I never saw them. Finally I devised a scheme and called around Warner's and convinced a promo person that I had a cable access show and wanted to feature Electrafixion in an episode. I could't believe it when I received a huge package full of Promo stuff. I got "Never" and "Lowdown" on VHS, a Promo labeled "Burned", both disks for the "Never" single fold out as well as single for "Lowdown",...
50 Electrafixion postcards, 20 bumper-stickers that would disintegrate after about 3 months in the weather, a band Bio and a bunch of 8x10 band press photos! To cap it all off I saw them live front and center less than 5 feet away from Ian on June 6th 1996 at Liberty Lunch in Austin TX. It was general admission and I arrived 3 hours early to guaranty that it was me in that
spot. I offered Ian a Marlborough between songs and he took it but then he looked at me and gestured "Got a light?"
Back then my baby bought me this single and it's great B side. This song hit the spot and meant so much to me. It touched on my own life. How do writers like Sergeant and McCullough do it? Superb......
Brillaint singer and brilliant guitarist, does it matter about the band name? Doubt it. Just wish Bunnymen played some of the Electrafixion songs live now, now that would be fantastic.

Wow - a lost gem with a nod towards Bowie and echoes of future Verve/Ashcroft and Oasis. Ian+WIll = pure genius.
