Like trezpazz's comment,,,I've been a fan since 95,and since...Recorded my Blackberry CD to a Cassette (Remember those?) and sat on top of Castle Mountain in Banff National Park, with the vintage Sony Sports Walkman by myself for 4 hrs..That was a great day,July 14/95....Not sure why someone clicked the dislike button?? Shame on you...

I sent a link to several of John's videos to my son who is 18 and knew literally nothing about J.B's music........... he said it has the musicality of Roy Orbison with the depth of Leonard Cohen......... a fitting description for John Bottomley and his contribution to music and song. He'll get the recognition he deserves now - that wasn't always present in his life. I've been thinking more about John and his rare talent ever since his tragic exit from this world...a true poet and artist

I was just listening to his Blackberry Cd the other day before I even learned of his passing. His music had a raw honesty quality to it which is so rare in todays music world. May you finally have the peace that eluded you in this life. Your music will render you immortal.
