Not if patterns of behavior in the Democrat party remain consistent. Unlike Conservatives, who when unhappy with a candidate go to the polls to vote them out, Democrats vote with their feet and just stay home. Obama has a HUGE enthusiasm gap between 2008 and 2012 and that will show in the polls in November. The man is a bigger failure than Jimmy Carter, and that's saying something.

Empathy for those in need is not a mental disorder. In fact, an inability to express empathy towards others means you're probably a sociopath. Like it or not, we have socialism in this country. If you don't like it, you can take it up with all the veterans returning from war. You are right about socialist states failing, but you're wrong to think a republican is any different than a democrat. Both parties have destroyed out freedoms since 2000.
