I guess I'm in the minority here or something, but 0:39 scared me shitless as a kid. I mean think about it...Imagine you're walking through a hospital and you go through one of those doors. Suddenly you're in a room like THAT. That's just not right!

This is really powerful stuff... The music is spot-on, the clown's make-up is scary and I think the underlying terror is that you must trust those clowns to fix Peewee's bike. They hardly portray a professional image!!! I think that this particular scene is a masterpiece, perhaps for the wrong reasons. Even the music is scary and with a repetitive beat that gets right into your head. Uuuggh!
