Skyrim Oghma Infinium Glitch - Patch 1.3 Bookshelf Method Works

Here is proof the bookshelf method still works for patch 1.3. The patch 1.2 workarounds using cupboard, followers, chests, etc. have all been fixed, but the first bookshelf method works like before. See this video for step-by-step instructions on how to do that method:

They are obviously trying to get rid of this glitch for good. If you are on the fence about it, you should get it done and out of the way now because it is very unlikely this will survive patch 1.4. My advice:

Make a new Breton character. Level it to 15 and do Discerning the Transmundane. Spend your level up points on health and do not spend ANY perks. Then at 15, get the Oghma, do the glitch here until all of your skills are 100. Then make a new save, and never overwrite it. You can use that save point to invest in the perks and health/mana/end that you want for a specific build in the future. You don't have to use it, but you can have it ready to go if you ever need it.

Why when one of my skills hits 100 it stops leveling that path up?

@3doghowl - it shouldn't. 100 is the cap for the skills, and once one of the skills reaches 100, the rest will keep going until they are also 100.

Thank you. Watched like 6 other vids and read multiple sites about how to do this but none of them explained it this way exactly. Your method worked perfectly. This trick is perfect for someone like me. I had maxed out all my main stats, but needed the rest for more perks. My thief was doing magic all day in Whiterun until I found this glitch. Actually if you play update the gamr then delete the patch abd try to play that saved data it will say "This data is saved on a updated version of TESV: Skyrim. Update the game to continue to play this data" not an exact quote but something like that. Yeah, they thought ahead of us.

Ok first delete your data don't worry the glitch has just code hexed the data after you delete your data it will make a copy of un hexed data and then just do the glitch again it should work
