The judges are always learning along with y'all, so here's my second singing tip of the season. Other singers, feel free to chime in with non-damaging ways to make your voice stronger!

  • i hate milk anyways (:

  • i always thought drinking cows milk was weird for humans lol...

thanks for the tips! i would have never known any of this before, i really hope it helps my singing!

  • well according to my naturopath (and she's helped me immensely, so I trust her), soy in general is bad. I think it's specifically bad for the thymus, but it also is another form of gluten (and gluten in general is bad). It's not even nearly as unhealthy as processed foods, but it's just not as healthy as everyone thinks.

  • awesome addition to the discussion, jerry.

I suggested silk due to the taste, but is my organic unsweetened, just-ground-up-soybeans soymilk any better?

  • People don't realize that wheat is almost as bad as dairy when it comes to forming mucus. Especially avoid wheat before you sing! Also, without going into details, soy milk isn't as healthy as people think. I'm a big fan of almond milk - readily available at Whole Foods or Trader Joe's. It tastes REALLY good, and is very healthy. The most healthy is hemp milk, but I don't like the taste.

  • Great advice... ya, i found out about the milk thing the hard way! haha!

    :D noellia

  • That is DEFINATELY one thing I already did 6 months ago....I stopped drinking milk, soda(except watermelon soda...but I cut down A LOT), but DARK CHOCOLATE....BLECH! I'd rather take no chocolate...LOL. Very good advice, Charlie.

  • thanks cree... these are just some ideas that have helped me - hopefully some others will jump in and clarify some points. thanks for always watching my vids - it means a lot.

    love ya, charlie

  • wow... lots of stuff i didnt know.. thanks charlie..
