Cynthia Barboza playing for the Toray Arrows Volleyball Team (1a)
Kids Talk Radio Sports was on a special assignment in Japan. We wanted to find out why the fans are so into volleyball. Our teams of Americans were treated with a high degree of respect and generous hospitality. The Japanese people rolled out the red carpet for us. For our fans in Japan, this means you were fantastic in every way. We will be sure to return the favor when you visit America. I have determined that volleyball might be the key to bringing about world peace.
Our special assignment included reporting on education in Japan, Cynthia Barboza playing as the only foreigner on the Toray Arrows Womens Professional Japanese Volleyball Team, and the cities of Tokyo and Hiroshima.
Cynthia Barboza was provided with a special Japanese interpreter by the name of Kotomi Fujita. Kotomi helped us all to navigate the subways and trains that we took up and down Japan. We invite you to view our videos, digital photographs, and Kids Talk Radio audio podcasts.
