1. The Echo
2. Until You Can Master Time

Nursery of Naughtiness are back with their latest single The Echo on the Exceptional Black Label. This is the band's 10th release on Exceptional Records and comes in their 5th year with the label.

Alastair Dawson, Nursery of Naughtiness says "With this E.P we took the elements of dubstep that we love and combined them with our own production style."

The Echo is a power struggle... a battle between beauty and the beast, peace and destruction, the two hearts which beat inside each of us. Opening with soft wavering pads and backed by a heavy steady trip hop beat the wandering tonality gives the opening section an expectant air. The relative peace is quickly broken by the introduction of the unique NoN brand of dirty synths, tremulous, dark and discordant. Darkness has Arrived. Returning melodic pads fight to try and restrain the piece, to bring it back down to earth and anchor it in some sort of understandable form, but each time it breaks free, unshackled and rampant. Nursery of Naughtiness, as ever, strike the perfect line between these two bipolar personalities, cleverly combining them in the final section, pulling the music forward in the same direction.

Until You Master Time continues the theme of duality, picking up where The Echo leaves off, at the same tempo and with a similar rhythm. It could almost be an echo of the echo, with it's gentler pads and trippy beat, set with a plaintive and indistinct female vocal sample, emploring the listener to 'take me away from here.' The breakdown features male spoken word samples reminiscent of Michael Caine doing his best British disdain.

These two tracks make for a killer combination and add yet another cracking release to NoN's exceptional black catalogue.

With support from Steve Lamacq, Annie Nightingale on Radio 1, Loose Cannons on Kiss FM and Jon Kennedy and Clint Boom on XFM, plus singles of the week at Beatport, 7Digital and iTunes. the Nurseries continue their meteoric rise.

"Best save this music for the sound system in your armored tank... send N.o.N some gold, because they're the next big thing." (girlsonic.com)

"...an epic, neo-industiral... tripped out body of work." 4/5 (DJMag)

"It has that cold hard edge of Aphex but also that grinding and piercing quality of The Prodigy.... They are without a doubt one of the finest new electronic acts out there and one to keep on the radar. We simply love this stuff."9.3/10 (comfortcomes.com)
