If the magnet was strong enough to pull the ball up the slide, it wouldn't let go when it reached the hole.

retarded. It wouldn't go down the tube. the magnet would hold it at the top. >_< honestly, this is the saddest attempt at a perpetual motion machine i've seen yet. Really, most would work without friction, but this is just sad.

@Vynalezce123 this is not russian -.-

@Daedalus969 thx for the info

@RCPoldi Just in case you're wondering, the original inventor of this design was Bishop John Wilkins, who lived several hundred years ago(1614-1672)
-
@RCPoldi The original 'inventor' of this concept is not the one who created this video, but one far, far older. There was no concept of the electro-magnet back then, and even then, if an electro magnet was used, it would not be a perpetual motion machine, given that again, continued force(by means of an electric supply) is required.
-
@Daedalus969 except you interrupt the magnetic force just at the point (or a bit earlier) the smaller ball ist above the hole. Maybe the inventor of this mechanism indicates that periodic on/off of the magnetic force with those red flashes in the image.

прям ни в каком другом месте его не примагнитит, а в самой дальней точке с чего-то вдруг примагнитит, аффтар ты бредишь
