For the past four years the Turkey Day 8K has been a trademark, downtown event in Spartanburg. The format is simple - Bring a can good - Run the run - Finish fast enough and get a prize. It couldn't be more simple than that.

This years event has some special sponsors - First this is a Spartanburg Running Club event. Our Presenting Sponsor this year is The Palmetto Bank. Other sponsors include Partners for Active Living, Girls on the Run, Jim Cunningham Coaching, and Spartanburg Creative Energy.

When: Thanksgiving Morning - 7:30am start - can good collection at 7am.
Where: The Palmetto Bank (corner of St. John and Magnolia)
Distance: 8K (5 miles)

Other important stuff -

Parking - in the garage beside the bank.
Obey all traffic laws and signs - there may or may not be law enforcement stopping traffic - please stop for traffic!
