Henry Ford was a Nazi

in the video it says ford got 200million from the government to build airplanes. wel, he did, in wat whas then the biggest factory of the world! every 63 minutes a new b24 liberator-bomber at the height of production!! some "nazi"... more like a patriot. his grandson was in the navy,instead of staying home, something he could have done beeing his grandson and in charge of the company!

his employees were at the time the best paid workers in the world. fact. at one moment he doubled their pay, and the next morning THOUSENDS stoot at the dearborn factory gates hoping to get a job with ford. this was also good for ford; his employees could buy his cars. and because he only took a very small profit margin on his cars,everybody could own a car,not just the rich. does NOT sound like an asshole to me,friend... ;o) greetings

I don't know about nazi, but he was an asshole to his employees.

his factories made much of the tools to defeat the germans.. everybody seems to forget that antisemitism existed long before ww2. people where raised different, times were different, and a lot of people thought like him. ford had the same problem,but that does not make him a nazi. in the war,he was an american. not a nazi. charles lindbergh is another example. bush did not hate jews but he is a bigger nazi then most germans in ww2

MrLtdodds, you're right , Ford contributed to America in a way that not many have. His achievements were great, and I guess maybe some of his flaws were too. Sheesh, it seems that history has become sensationalist, not sensible. In fact, it's not so much history as hysteria.
