Fantastic! Im seriously thinking of learning to fly these MT-03 machines. I have 1700 hours fixed wing so should be reasonably ok to complete in the 30 hours....i think!!
How much does the MT-03 cost, i can find nothing on the net about purchase price without e mailing rotorsport directly
Thanks

@ 2:16 could have loss lift and crash.

@basimpsn The gyro needs at least about 40 km/h of forward speed to maintain altitude. The wind at that day was well above that -- maybe around 60 km/h. So the wind would have had to drop more than 20 km/h, which wasn't going to happen.
Incidentally, there is a certain band of altitude where it's dangerous. Below that and you don't damage the gyro, above that and you have enough altitude to regain speed.

What if the wind suddenly stops, will he fall?

Yeah, she will. That's why you need to be very careful, be quick on the throttle and keep some extra speed on, at least the amount the speed changes between a gust and a lull.

hi, i just want to know is it possible to hover without rely on the head wind?
autogyro needs airspeed to maintain the lift force, right?

Yes, a gyro needs to move through the air in order to fly. This particular model I fly starts to hover at wind speeds greater than about 30 km/h.
