Beautiful fish. I just set up my 35g tank and i wanna put in one of these, along with a black ghost knifefish, a ropefish, as well as the betta thats already in there, is that adviseable?

Years ago I had a couple Elephant nose fish I would feed by hand.. I would pet them too....blue Botias with orange fins actually ate them and they disappeared overnight.

excuse me... excuse me... EXCUSE ME!
Can it live with a tiretrack eel and black ghost? Nice variety

Hi, you're tank isn't big enough for all those. A Knifefish can grow very large, way too big for that tank. The other fish should be ok.

It would be fine with a black ghost I am sure but a Tire Track eel does grow pretty large. I don't think you should mix them.

In theory it should be fine. You just need to remember that they both emit weak electrical signals to locate their food but I don't think it would be an issue. Certainly I have seen them as tankmates before.

It really depends on their living conditions but they are quite long lived, some years.

Yes it will eat brine shrimp, mysis, black mosquito larva, bloodworms. Anything meaty and small. Hope this helps.

They are Blue Tetra, very pretty things especially if you have a blue light in your tank.
