This is very interesting. Bohr was one of many great men around at that time. He also expanded on the ideas of Planck and Rutherford. Neither could see the solution to the problem, but Niels did.

Wow! This is funny! "I am Bohring!" what a wheeze! Well, that's certainly a good video in terms of science, except for the bit where he says the electron will escape with zero energy: If it doesn't have energy, it doesn't exist!

Ultimately, Bohr's model of the atom was a mere approximation.

Yet his defense of QM in the famous Bohr-Einstein debates served to help develop the theory and popularize science.
