Korg Z1 freak

No. It has an electric piano sound, though.
There's no point in having an acoustic piano sound with only 12 notes of polyphony. Besides, Z1 is NOT your typical rompler workstation, it's a whole different kind of synthesizer.

does it have a regular piano sound???
-
mmmmmmmmmmmmm.....boring,see the video from de guy of poland...kick ass!!
(korg z1/demo by syntezatory.prv.pl),you can listen de real sound of this monster!!

I own a Prophecy and a Z1 and the keys are very different.
I neither own a Triton nor have I ever played it so I can't say anything about its keys.
-
@nokia3210fuck: Not yet. But i played it several times in the music shop when it came out. I know the keys have a very light feel.
Funny enough, the keyboard of the Z1 is the same as the Triton keyboard, for example. It's the FS-61KG2 from Yamaha, according to the Z1 service manual.
I personally own a Korg Prophecy and a Korg 01/w pro (76 keys).
It wouldn't sound so bad if he had recorded the audio output rather than his fingers hacking on the keys ;)
-
do you have a z1?
probably not.
the keys are different on the z1.
they sound this way even if you push the keys very light.
-
Your physical abuse of the keys makes me cringe at at every note you play.
Be gentle.
-
It won't be working much longer if you keep putting wear on the keybed like that.
Let your fingers do the playing - this isn't a pipe organ.
-
the keys r very touch sensitive..diff sounds w/ touch of keys...ummm...z1 is sweetest
Z1 is great!
