Workers were withdrawn after the danger of exposure peaked - the alert also saw plans to drop water from helicopters adandoned. Energy adviser Arnold Gundersen says the Japanese nuclear crisis could have disasterous consequences.

This guy deserves credit for being one of the first experts to actually come out and say it for what it was. A lot of people were bashing this guy a few weeks ago... now he doesn't appear so foolish eh?
