Here is Mike Warshaw on the overnight during the early morning hours of January 31, 1982 as recorded from Philadelphia. Good PSA at 7:06. I caught several of his shows from October '81 to March '82. Mike went on to be the editor of Worcester Magazine and was later the assistant business editor of the Boston Globe. The station was located at 34 Mechanic St. and in 1984 moved around the corner to 19 Norwich St. 14Q could be heard in Philly after local 1440 WNPV in Lansdale, Pa. signed off at midnight followed by the sign off of 1440 WHHH (WRRO) Warren, Ohio. These stations no longer sign off the air at night and 14Q is WVEI, essentially a simulcast of WEEI in Boston. The antenna is in Paxton, Mass. Logo courtesy Steve Marx, ex-GM of WFTQ.
