In Part II of Meg's Bedroom Series she shows you the basics of upholstering a headboard, AND shows you how to kick it up a notch by making your headboard illuminated.

If you dig the caftan dress I am wearing, then you'll love my NEXT Craft video where I show you how to make your own. I made the necklace I am wearing and show you how in a MACC video next week.

  • I thought it would be shaped and have nailhead detailing but simple is nice too I guess

  • @sassy808 I am not into the fancy schmancy shape, I dig the clean shape of ours best for our room. Customize yours however you wish. There are how-to's on customizing the shape all over, just look around. xo, Meg

  • incredible! this looks so professional and really dresses up the room. so sophisticated! thanks for all the great tips.

  • @star81782 Thanks, so glad you like it!

  • I was hoping to see how you would have achieved the contoured head from the movie shot that you showed last time.

  • @Neropatti Not my style, but there are plenty of how-to's out there showing you how to achieve that. xo, Meg

  • @aglanceatmyworld I JUST helped my buddy with this exact problem by creating an L-shaped headboard. It will be a video, but I'll get him to send me a pic in the meantime to show you. xo, Meg

  • @craftzine LED stands for Light Emitting Diode, so DIODER is quite an apt name!

  • is that pillow a mola??

  • what would be good for a full sized bed?

  • Hey! If you like crafts, check out my channel! :)

  • Am glad I came across this video. Am a fan of you since your days in Threadbanger :)

  • @24ntk To test the nails to make sure the brackets/mending plates aligned correctly. WAY easier to find out at that stage as opposed to when you have the whole thing finished. Prior planning prevents piss-poor performance and mega F%&$ ups:)

  • @24ntk nevermind...just realized the nails stayed in the wall...

  • what is the point of hanging the smaller board and then taking it right back off the wall?
