Billy, the singer in our band was invited to London to audition for this recording and I went with him. There was another guy short listed for it who was also there. The idea was that they would do the final recording and choose the 'winner' from that. The recording was done at a studio in Engineers Way in Wembley. While Billy recorded I played pool with Showaddywaddy who were there recording an album. It was a bad day for both of us, Billy wasn't picked for the advert and I lost at pool.
