Your comment delighted me too - so, thank YOU, Sarry! :-)

Coming from you, such praise is enough to make me blush :) The problem with this is that I just filmed it. Had I taken the time to script it, I might have been more succinct. Oh, and if you find yourself a guest in the home of your stalker when he's pissed, you'd best check whether you're actually being held captive! :-)

I love that tangerine analogy — beautiful. You're such a natural at this — I feel like I'm a guest in your home! ;8)

I know this is an aside but I love Kurt Weill and Lotta Lenya (his wife) too. I think September Song is my favorite.. My sister's cat is named Mackie, for Mac the Knife.

Oooh, oooh. I adore everything about September Song but especially the lyrics (because I'm in the autumn of my life, I suppose) :) Yes, Weill was a genius and Lotta Lenya was marvellous. Thanks for commenting :) (btw, I love your username).

I think it's interesting how most creative, right brained indivuduals have the melancholy trait.
Have you ever noticed that some of the most profound writers are alcoholics...i.e. Dylan Thomas, James Agee, Jack Kerouac.
It's nice to hear some honest dialogue in this format.

Food for thought, indeed, Seattlegrl1. Thanks. It was probably directly due to the alcohol that I drank on that evening that I reflected in the first place. I wonder if Dylan Thomas etc. drank to think or to escape thinking? Did they drink to write or drink to subdue their questioning minds? I would drinkt to write - but then write rubbish ;-)

LOL - perhaps! I think Dylan Thomas had the genetic predisposition to the disease likely, as he died I believe in his late 30's of chronic alcoholism.
And then there's Hemingway and Fitzgerald.

I'm lucky not to have the predisposition - the amount I put away! Mind you, I'm also unlucky not to have the creative predispositions either. :)
