[From "Kovacs Corner" on YouTube.com] - Steve was the original host of the "Tonight Show" from 1954 to 1957. By 1956, he was given a prime-time network slot on Sunday evening. With such a schedule, NBC decided to bring in Ernie Kovacs as the host on Mondays and Tuesdays to give Steve some relief. Here is an example of Steverino's self described "Crazy Shots", which appear suspiciously Kovacsian in style and execution.

  • Is that Audrey "Alice Kramden" Meadows at 0:25?

  • @WSenator1 Nope. That's Cugat's wife at the time, Abbe Lane.
