Tavis said WGBH! YAY!

Unfortunately there are some people in our community who are unrealistic and think that Obama is the Great Black Hope who will solve all of our problems. But Tavis's rants about Obama have been uncalled for.

In case you forget, or in case you didn't already know, Tavis doesn't can't stand Barack Obama because Obama chose not to announce his candidacy for President of the United States at Tavis's State of the Black Union event two years ago. Ever since then, Tavis has been trying to insinuate that Obama doesn't care about the Black community.

Instead of assuming that all African Americans are looking for a Saviour or someone to lead them out of bondage(discrimination).That you as an African American journalist should use this a positive platform to build on. And as for being the First African American President in 200 years or so we should be proud first and hold him to an even higher expectation as one of our brothers as any other culture wood Chinese, Mexican etc. We as African Americans should have higher Expectations for Us.
