Just a level i've modelled based of the first zone of Sonic Before The Sequel
There is still a lot of collision gliches and a lot to do in this level

This was made in Sonic GDK, an engine that uses UDK for making a 3D sonic fan game

  • @EnderMCProductions

well, i just copy and pasted the ones from the test map

  • @LakeFeperd where can u find the test map .udk file?

  • @EnderMCProductions

    \UDKGame\Content\SonicGDK

but still, avoid asking obvious questions like this, if you try to open something in the UDK editor it, by default, it will show the content folder

  • I see lots of long stretches of linear, straight paths, and very few slopes and platforming. Congrats, you've made a Sonic Unleashed Wii stage!

  • @Drakupwns Sonic Colors 3D sections.avi

  • i like the concept of this level. there should be more mountainous levels in sonic games

  • @batmanonlinecom Sky Sanctuary Modern from Sonic Generations

  • Not bad, you need more variety though.

  • @ShadeVortex I think that was the point.

  • @Drakupwns ...Have you ever actually PLAYED Sonic Advance 2?

There really aren't any long straight paths, and there certainly isn't any linearity. There are slopes and obstacles and branching paths and shit all over the place.

I'd compare the level design in Sonic Advance 2 to Chemical Plant, Mushroom Hill, or Hydrocity. It's just got that same sort of feel, and if you look at the maps for those Zones and compare them to Sonic Advance 2, they're all fairly similarly designed.
