I think you can do it without getting stung... You pluck the leaf only touching the underside and kind of roll it up, then stick it between your back teeth, and chew it up between your teeth...

The best part is the flower, and after they wave flowered most of the sting is gone

yes those are nettles she is eating. and they seem to have lowered her voice a bit too!

@TheRealDealSeal90 Well the leaves actually sting as well...but your right the stalk has much tougher stings and "hurt" much more.

He's eating the stinging nettles but touches them with gloves. Thats not manly at all!
I used to forage the nettles ( among others ) with my bare hands...it only stings at the beginning, plus its good for your blood circulation ( Arthritis )

Oh that's wonderful, you gotta torture yourself to get the really good stuff! I just watched a video where a guy was saying to "taco it" and I guess you don't get stung so much. I didn't think you could eat nettle at all if it stings.
