i know that music changes with tha time but it is painfully obvious that today's hip hop can not be compare wit golden era hip hop the talent not there the energy is dead the creativity is lame mainstream if you listen to tha stuff they put out the songs follow a pattern everything has to be industry formula which cripples tha ability to be able to experiment its all in tha people cuase we listen and buy real hip hop is always going to be around becuase there are people who still like good music

what do yall think of Hopsin?
You know NEW hip hop has changed when you were a fan, then your not anymore you just HATE it.! Today, all these so called "rappers" all they rap about its sex, drugs, & money. When thats not the meaning of rap/hip hop.
& some of the rap/hip hop from like 1990-2007 ill say not for sure but some of the hip hop/ rap was actually good! for example: snoop dog? tupac? now hip hop has changed but it hasnt lost its very much alive, just look a few years back, you'll find the TRUE meaning of hip hop.

HOOOOLD UP!! i dont know about the south fuckin up hip hop cause if you look at texas you got Scarface/ The Geto Boys, Z-ro, UGK, Chamillionaire, K-Rino in memphis you got 8 ball & MJG, of course Three 6 mafia (you can say what you want but you know 3-6 went off). In ATL you got Outkast, Goodiemob, Luda. Miami had 2 live crew. all i listen to is hip hop from '00- and back, fuck new school! but dont blame the south, even when a good handful of "swag" shit came from Cali and NY
