Monkey Temple at Wat TuhmPlaa Mae Sai, Chiang Rai, Thailand

You will see the altar of Wat Tuhm Plaa (Temple of the Cave). On the grounds, the monkeys hang around; they wait for visitors to give them bananas. Children should not provide candy or food to the monkeys. The monkeys are aggressive if they are not given ALL of the treat. They may size you up based on size. The monkeys do not go inside the temple or block the temple entrance, although they like to sit on the roof.
